It's *almost* a useable OS for attracting new users, except for all the little problems like this. If they devoted one of their release cycles to just fixing these little annoyances (it's not like most people haven't found fixes for them anyway), it would go a long way to making Ubuntu into a solid OS for new users.</p> Ubuntu really needs to take a step back and think about fixing little problems like this. I actually ran the reinstall command first (accidentally) and then downloaded/applied the updates. FINALLY I have wireless again.
