		<description>&lt;p&gt;Ubuntu really needs to take a step back and think about fixing little problems like this. It&#039;s *almost* a useable OS for attracting new users, except for all the little problems like this. If they devoted one of their release cycles to just fixing these little annoyances (it&#039;s not like most people haven&#039;t found fixes for them anyway), it would go a long way to making Ubuntu into a solid OS for new users.&lt;/p&gt;

Ubuntu 9.1 Netbook Remix runs extremely well now and makes for an incredibly useful and aesthetically satisfying netbook experience. Now if I could just get the built in mic to work on Skype...&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;I had almost given up on UNR + Mini9 when I found this page ... gave it a try and it worked!  I actually ran the reinstall command first (accidentally) and then downloaded/applied the updates.  FINALLY I have wireless again.  Thanks!&lt;/p&gt;
