Does anyone know if application development with Core Audio API or Windows SDK msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd146047.aspx could be done on VS 2005 on Win XP or has to be on VS 2008 and Vista.

I am using VS2005 and its running perfectly fine but i have some projects which are made in VS2008 so simply i have to install VS2008 in my system or we have any other alternative to convert the code from new framework to the old one.And suppose if i install a fresh copy of VS2008 then the projects made in VS2005 would automatically open in VS2008 by auto code conversion that i dont want to

Hey, thank you for this post! I’m now seriously considering choosing WPF for the 3D portions of my project.Another big reason to choose WPF is Visual Studio 2008 itself. XNA 3.0 (and its betas), with support for Studio 2008, is a long way off, while WPF is available now.
